Them buying the guys food sort of messes up the swimsuit part (as you pointed out) as well as one of the funniest parts in that trip (where Yosuke just starts eating Kanji's food because Youske is a massive asshole). <br />So, eh? The game wasn't exactly subtle, but it seems it was more subtle than this interpretation (especially with Kanji and the fat girl thing), which is unfortunate. I've liked Atlas games because they strike a decent balance between the over-the-top reactions and melodrama associated with anime and actually keeping it somewhat "realistic." From what I've seen of this show, they took a few more steps closer in the "anime melodrama" direction (makes sense) which is too bad. <br />And you are making me want to play the game again.
