Anime Reviews: Fairy Tail Episode 85 - Code ETD
The King orders Lucy executed, and though Lucy tries to appeal to Erza Knightwalker, the alternate reality version of her friend drops her off a tower. At the last minute Lucy is saved by Happy and Charle. Charle claims to be the Queen's daughter, but they are quickly ousted as the Fallen, and have to escape.
As the Exceed army swoops down after Happy and Charle, the mad King activates Code ETD. This new weapon, Exceed Total Destruction, turns all the Exceed chasing Happy and Charle into lachryma.
Happy, Charle and Lucy try to make their way to Natsu and Wendy, who are having their magic drained from them. But they are ambushed by Erza Knightwalker. She captures them easily, and all seems lost, but at the last minute the real Erza and Gray show up to save their friends.
First off I should mention that the next several reviews are going to be a lot shorter than usual. I think this is both a good and a bad thing, since it allows me to catch up on everything I've gotten behind on. And since I don't want to write bad reviews, I'm going to keep these as bare bones as possible. I'll focus on only the most important details. I apologize for the delay in getting this out. I promise I'll be more professional in the future.
That being said, a lot happened this episode. There really weren't any points where it seemed like it dragged on, and there was no need for filler. I'd almost say it's an ideal episode, but only almost. Nothing is ever really ideal. But for what it's worth, this is another strong entry into the Edolas arc, and given how the anime has remained top notch, I can only hope that it continues past this arc.

I'd recommend going to funimation.com, they have a good chunk of the episodes online. Or google watch fairy tail, if you live outside the united states.
